Refined Salt with Medium Granules is best for pools. Generally, pool salt is used by a salt water chlorine generator (aka SWG) to GENERATE CHORINE for sanitizing your pool or spa. In fact it is the same compound as sodium chloride (NaCl). Pool salt is coarser and comes in bulk, large consumer packing.
